LCI Solutions Cebu Inc. shared their expertise in technology to a very special group in Cebu City last Friday, February 28, 2014, the children from Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart Children’s Home in Guadalupe City, Cebu.
It always warms the heart seeing the happy faces of the kids. When they saw the computers, they started asking if the computers are touch screen; not their fault, of course for not seeing the keyboards yet. The innocence of a child always has a soft spot in all of us.
It is through this innocence that we want to mold them in the right direction, nurture their thirst for curiosity and knowledge. For this reason, LCI Solutions Cebu Inc., through its Cebu Heroes program donated 7 computers to the Franciscan Orphanage. Each workstation has a shared network for the internet, cubicle for each user, and a headset. In the next days to come, LCI Solutions Cebu Inc. will be offering free on-line English classes to these kids.
No wonder LCI Solutions has been called the new Heroes of Cebu.
Joining the activity is LCI Solutions Vice President - Alin Florea, General Manager - Glynes Cabarubias, Human Resource Manager - Marie Hershey Bongbong, and Vinz Mabanto, Business Development Manager. This movement would not have been possible without their great leader, Nikolaos Spanoudis, LCI Solutions President.
A humble gesture that will be remembered by the children from Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart’s Children’s Home for the years to come.
